S. Heller (Ewbank) Lipsett
January 7, 1955-June 22, 2013
S. Heller (Ewbank) Lipsett passed away peacefully surrounded by her family the morning of June 22, 2013. Heller was born January 7, 1955 in Lafayette, Indiana to Jane Ewbank and Hank Ewbank (both recently deceased).
She was married January 27, 1977 to J. David Lipsett (deceased 2005). She was a graduate of University of Michigan where she was a member of Alpha Phi and manager of the men’s swim team. She taught in the MUSD for 20+ years and was a leader in recycling, SST and special needs programs. She was an active volunteer at community organizations including CERT, Blood Drives, Foodbank, and Harvest Festival.
She is survived by her children David (JaYoung), Phillip (Lisa), Jennifer (Samuel) Cardenas, Tanner (Jessica), Kate (Adam), Allen and Jacob; grandchildren Emily, Trent, Lauren and Ryan Lipsett, CJ, Isabella and Chloe Cardenas, and Sawyer and Graham Allen; siblings Mark (Bobbie) Ewbank and Kimberley Reynolds and stepmother Barbara Ewbank. Services will be held at 5pm Wednesday, July 26th, at PL Fry & Sons Funeral Home, 290 North Union Road, Manteca. In lieu of flower the family prefers a donation to the charity of your choice.
